2015 SCHEDULE

#1love #gothedistance

We learned allot from 2015 about what is like to have a really large team.   We will seek to improve our team chemistry while maintaining an expectation of excellence.   We will miss our seniors who were part of the best ever years in the history of West XC.

While it is still possible some of these dates COULD change, we feel pretty solid about our schedule.  Please mark these dates in your calendar and schedule other actitives around your meets.

If you need to take the ACT and might not make top 20, 9/12 is a good date for testing.    If you think you might make top 10, please don't plan to take the SAT on 11/7.  That is the day of state!

POPSICLE CLASSIC

Great start to the season!

Girls team is very strong!   Our ladies swept 12 of the top 15 places!  Huge improvement by some returning athletes including Lili Galarza, Claire Camak, Daniela Duckett, Vika Hair and Emma Cario.

Guy's looked decent led by the 1-2 punch of John and Matt.  A bunch of sophomores are in the hunt for varsity positions and a very upper-classmen are ready to step up their game.

A ton of our runners completed their first every cross country meet and importantly, EVERYONE GOT A POPSICLE!

CPP WEEKDAY MEET #1

Good experience on our region course.  For most of you this is your most important racing venue.

Tough racing conditions.  After school. Hot. Humid.  Tall grass.

Olivia runs the only PR on the day for the ladies!

Nikhil, Chad and Avery PR for the dudes.

Most of you went out significantly too fast in the first mile.  Through experience, you will learn to hold back a bit more and finish strong.
