7th place finish = best finish in West school history

 

Best race of the year when it mattered.

 

Team of guys not afraid of hills and a little mud.

The guys saved the their best race of the year for last!  

Our state race was a total team effort, and the guys hung tough on a muddly mess of a course.   We were not even mentioned in the pre-state projections, while 15 other teams were talked about as contenders.  7th place with only 2 seniors is really good.
