We lucked out on the weather, and it allowed our athletes to get a fair shot at racing our 1st 5K of the season.   We showed good sportsmanship, cheered super loud at awards and embraced the horror of a post awards rain storm.

Great learning experience.  Big race fields.  Super hot temps.

Girls Varsity = 4th place!    Liz wins!

Ryan and Zach PR.

DOUBLE DIP

We came.  We saw hills.   We ran hills.

Girls JV = 3rd place!  Rachel, Ashley H & Jana top 15!

Caroline A. missed a top 10 shirt by one place!   But she lettered!

Guys JV = 4th place.  Graham, Kerrington, Charles, Paul top 25

COACH WOOD

We showed we belonged in a race of the state's best XC teams

A little flat after Mile Madness on Wednesday.

No reason to get too fired up with the AREA meet in a week.

9 surprising PRs for the boys and 3 for the girls.

Charles Mason stands tall placing #5 and scoring for the Varsity.

MILE MADNESS

What can I say, it was madness at its best.

Fast guys heat all ran PRs while losing their shirts

Fast running by the team and some parents/alumni

I nice gesture in fund raising for the Chestatee coach.

ATC WINGFOOT

Another super hot day and a dry dusty course!

JV races being reduced to 3K was a blessing.

Lots of really gritty and tough running.  Proud of the effort.

Open guys place 2nd.  A bunch of these guys should letter at Area.

Rachel Sexton ran the team's only PR on the day.

Great experience running against the best runners in the state

WARPATH

Fast, flat course led to some PRs in the dust.

72 PRs and 12 new athletes achieved lettering time

Open and JV girls 2nd!   Varsity girls 3rd.

Open and JV guys 3rd.  Varsity 6th.

Dayla got a win!   Kspoon and Liz just missed the top podium spot.
