We lucked out on the weather, and it allowed our athletes to get a fair shot at racing our 1st 5K of the season. We showed good sportsmanship, cheered super loud at awards and embraced the horror of a post awards rain storm.

GUYS (11th) Guys out perform their predicted place & race hard & smart.
Nick 45th/#22 returner. 5th fastest West runner @ state
GIRLS (5th) Team ran hard and just missed podium. AGAIN!

GUYS (6th) AND GIRLS (3rd) ARE GOING TO STATE!

Another super hot day and a dry dusty course!
JV races being reduced to 3K was a blessing.
Lots of really gritty and tough running. Proud of the effort.
Open guys place 2nd. A bunch of these guys should letter at Area.
Rachel Sexton ran the team's only PR on the day.

Fast, flat course led to some PRs in the dust.
72 PRs and 12 new athletes achieved lettering time
