DISTANCE - WEEK OF APRIL 6-13
A JOURNEY TO BECOMING THE BEST YOU POSSIBLE
SEEMS LIKE THE WHOLE WORLD IS SHUT DOWN Good news. Running isn't cancelled. A reminder that our sport is the best. Running is a sport you can do your entire life. Coach Dave just ran 54 miles in a day! Coach Fran? 29! So, just because track season got shut down, doesn't mean running needs to stop. In fact, if you are planning to run cross country next year, we really need you to continue training through the the middle of May. Then, we will all take our between season break and start the path to XC in June.
To show off your fitness (and I know some of you are in really excellent shape) let's all go rip and roar a 5K on Thursday. Map out a 5K course on the greenway, in your neighborhood, where ever you can run fast and safe and go time trial an all out 5K. Post results in our GARMIN group. We will share and celebrate your efforts. It should feel good to let it rip. Any frustrations with how this school year ended? Take it out on the 5K.
For your CIRCUIT SESSION on Friday, check out the document link below. You can use your phone to QR scan to see videos that show the exercises.
LET'S GO TO WORK
