A QUALITY SEASON OF 2 LAP MADNESS IN 2022 - 19 letters in 2023!

 

The speed merchants dominate this long sprint race.   To run fast, you must treat this like a sprint. 

There is no finishing kick at the end of a properly run 800M race because you ran it in the 1ST 200M already!

43 athletes ran their fastest 800M ever during the '23 season. 

11 athletes ran performances that made the WFHS all time top 20 list!

Both 4X800M relay teams made it to state. 

Girls ran 2nd fastest time every at West to place a solid 4th and earn valuable points for the team.

Guys just missed breaking 8:00, placing 10th.  While not what we wanted, our 8:01 was 4th fastest in school history.
