Unless some athletes who normally run 1600/3200M move down, the 800M path in region 5-7A is open.

Sectionals appears a little tougher on the guys side than on the girl's side.

Both guys and girls have potential to be top 8 (podium) at state this year.

Athletes with grade highlighted in blue are unlikley to run 800M at region & will focus on 16/32/4X800M

You need to run sub 2:02 guys and sub 2:30 girls to make a quality 4X800M relay team/score region points

Athletes who focus on the 800M only infrequently podium in XC and some top 800M runners don't do XC.
