….. that cross country is a Summer sport that just happens to be contested in the Fall.
We will sow the seeds of success in the Summer and reap the harvest in the Fall when it is time to race. We realize that if we do not do our Summer training that we will have to lower our expectations and bow to mediocrity.
The most important running you will do all season is in June and July. By the time school starts, it is too late to get in shape to be the best you can be.
