IS THE GIFT OF LIFE WE ARE GIVEN EACH DAY.....
SO THE QUESTION IS THIS.... HOW WILL YOU USE THIS MOST PRECIOUS GIFT?
Think about kind of person you wish to be, the relationships you hold most dear, the things you would like to accomplish and the dreams you have for your future. Let those things run around in your head. Better yet, make a list and post it in a place you will see it every day as a reminder.
Now, ask yourself..... Is the way I'm spending my time supporting my list and moving me in a positive direction?
10 SECONDS - the amount of time it takes to say something nice to a friend
10 SECONDS - the amount of time it takes to gossip about someone behind their back
10 SECONDS - enough time to jump out of bed, excited to see your friends at practice
10 SECONDS - time to hit the snooze twice, turn off the alarm, roll over and go back to sleep
600 SECONDS - long enough to eat a healthy snack before or after practice
600 SECONDS - a terrific investment in the life of another. Call a grandparent. They will brag to their friends for a week!
600 SECONDS - 10 minutes to waste messing with your phone
3600 SECONDS - one hour's worth of reading, journaling and learning about things that fill you will passion & wonder.
3600 SECONDS - more than time enough to make a contribution to your family. Wash, vacuum, mow a lawn.
3600 SECONDS - the sacrifice you need to make on vacation for your team by getting in your summer workout.
3600 SECONDS - time to build bonds with friends by grabbing a smoothie or jumping in the river after practice.
YOU WILL NEVER HAVE MORE TIME IN YOU LIFE THAN TODAY!
BUT EACH DAY IS ALL WE EVER HAVE!
TOMORROW IS GONE FOREVER, LEAVING YOU WITH ONLY MEMORIES.
WHAT KIND OF MEMORIES ARE YOU MAKING WITH YOUR 86,400 SECONDS EACH DAY?
